Jannicke T. B. Bech is a part of the Art in Society master program at Oslo Metropolitan University (OsloMet) and will be finishing her master thesis in 2022. The thesis is written with supervision by Kristin Bergaust and María Castellanos.
In her master thesis she is researching the interactive exhibition Shadows (Skygger) at the MUNCH museum in Oslo. Through observing audience interactions in Shadows, she is looking at patterns of behavior and how the audience choose to participate with the exhibition. The goal of the research is to learn more about how technology and interaction can be used as tools for storytelling and curating purposes in the museum space.
Jannicke has a background from the art teacher bachelor program at OsloMet. In 2021 and 2022 she has participated in a Bufdir founded research project “Universell utforming av kunst og håndverksrom i skolen” with the goal of charting universal design in art classrooms in elementary and middle schools in the Oslo area.
